All the cats that were shytting on me when Beathard replaced Mullens. Mullens can ball. He's just not a long term solution. He's also far cheaper.

The way Jimmy played the last 2 weeks looked better than the Mullens we're seeing now, so it would have been nuts to start Mullens over him tonight. But the Jimmy that showed up to this game deserved to be benched. I don't know what Shanny does moving forward for this season at the QB spot, don't really care anymore. I think we should draft a development QB in round 2 or 3.

if we were below the salary cap , then possibly. but we are cap strapped and the window was now. Bosa and Warner will need to get paid. Paying 27 milly to a qb who is limited as hell and without third down conversions turns into an errant alex smith is detrimental. draft a rookie qb. Pay Warner and Bosa and maybe Sherm to keep the defense intact.

But if that’s the case then Currently in the league the only QBs that are proven are Brady, Russ, Ben, Mahomes, Brees and Foyles.
