Also, there's a stark difference between racism and prejudice. Racism is when you are systemically oppressing those from a smaller race than yours in order to gain something or restrict access. Prejudice is just thoughts that have not been acted out in the real world. So, Eminem as a 14 year old saying ignorant shyt is still offensive but in contrast of what he's done in business by making many black millionaires or simply making those of other races around him richer he can't be racist.

You calculated it yourself. If Eminem supposedly recorded the song when he was a young teenager in 1988 that would make him aged 15 and 16 that year when he recorded it. Either way he was an immature boy when he said it.

Children are not accountable for their actions for a reason because they do not have the life experience to understand the brevity of what they're saying.

If he was a grown adult in his 20s or 30s with a full life of experience behind him saying that he should be canceled but it was a child that didn't know any better.

Don't get my statement said confused with condoning his behaviour neither because that isn't the argument. :ufdup:

Also, Eminem has had a record deals since he was about 12 or something in the mid 80s so it's more than very plausible he recorded it in '88.
