Me and my husband actually watched this show before it went off the air. I’m sure they could go back to showing the newer seasons 3 days a week like before and their ratings would increase Hellas over that last several months. VH1 won’t admit this but they took a hit in ratings/money after cancelling this show. I’m assuming they had to make sure their advertisement sponsors was in a agreement with bringing this show back. At the end of the day, nick cannon putting money in a lot of black comedians pockets and I’m always supporting that hopefully he start moving better even though he’s semi right.

I’d argue that Viacom needed him more than he needed them mainly because he was the only thing keeping MTV alive and moving the needle. MTV2 has essentially been a dead channel since it got cancelled plus they need more content for their streaming service.
