Smooth sailing from here on out...
Saw a report that he wanted to meet with KD, Russy, & Serge (I can't believe someone is going to finally see what Serge thinks too
) before taking the job but wasn't sure if he could get all that set up in a short time. Then right after saw that their already talking contract. More interested in the staff around him to be honest. Wish they would look into Malone as an assistant.
Other than that this should be a pretty boring off season for us (like always). Hire Billy & figure out his staff, match or whatever with Kanter, trade PJ3 & Lamb for some 2nd rounders, draft a Euro stash, & make a decision on Singler. Think Novak stays because we would have to add something else to get someone to take him & he's one of the few older guys on the team plus he can make 3s. With those 2 open spots sign Huestis & Semaj. Wish we could move Waiters but I don't see where that happens.

Kanter needs to be atleast an average defender at all costs.

Doubt Abrines comes over for at the least another couple years if he ever does. Too many guys already at the 2 & he recently said he wouldn't mind being a long term guy for Barcalona. He'll probably end up like Tibor & be talked about every summer before he gets traded right before it looks like he's finally ready to come over.

What's your opinion on assistants ?
From what i've read Donovan knows he needs help on defense and both he and Presti are searching for the right assistant. He has coached both great defenses and offenses in his years with the Gators, so he isn't a one-sided coach.
Bring back Ron Adams as a defensive assistant. If that doesn't work i hope we can convince Malone to take an assistant job again.

Maybe we should bring back Mo Cheeks since him & Russy had a good relationship. Would probably help Russy & some of the other guys having a guy they know pretty well.
