gotta be king of this shyt
All my verses like paintin' a pic
All my verses, they came with a brick
Say he real, but that ain't who he is
He gon' tell if he facin' attempt
Eatin' good, left the waiter a tip
Now you gotta come and pay me, lil' bytch
All this drippin' get the waviest bytch
Tell them nikkas I could never be number two
'Cause they know I came with the shyt
I'm from where nikkas die over necklaces
Unfortunate chain of events
nikka snakin', but he say he your friend
Life's a movie, I ain't changin' the script
nikka playin', then we layin' him stiff
Mama told you not to play in cement
Pinky ring blingin', say it again
House money, but I pay up the rent
Granny told me I should pray off the sins
Flow killer, at the sΓ©ance again
I just let 'em lie, I don't tell my side
Boy, the truth always play out the win
Granny told me I should pray and repent
Self-awareness, ain't no way I'm offended
nikka, is you crazy

A week later and I still have this on repeat. Definitely my top 2 album of the year alongside Everybody Good?

Drake’s album so mid, I went right back listening to this album. It has so much soul with the music, and the grit with the lyrics. He talking that shyt and I want more of it. :wow:

He reached a new peak with this album and this is something I never knew I needed more of. :banderas:

Just found out about this album the other day, but the scheme from the baby's POV on Conceive gotta be one of my favorite verses of the year, like if you modernized Fetus. In general, Nick's got plenty of witty lines in smaller doses and I know I haven't caught everything. There's also themes of self-love and unlearning negative behavior (specifically, from his father) in the background, but they never overshadow the bars or the catchy melodies.
