Nick Young: Steph and KD were neck and neck for FMVP, then Steph had a bad game, was in tears even after win. KD was trying to get him it

Not for nothing, Steph’s heart was prob hoping KD would’ve eventually left, even if his brain knows they would’ve been better for it. In a world where KD never tears his shyt in 2019, it would’ve took a while before Steph organically passed KD as the most praised player during their tenure. Probably around 2023 or so.

I mean I would’ve like to have seen the Heat vs that Warriors team that’s a fair balance. When the Warriors was deep the rest of the league wasn’t on par with them. That Heat team face a deep Mavericks team, a deep Thunder team, and a deep Spurs team. The Warriors faced the Cavs over and over again. Bron didn’t have help like that his second run with the Cavs. Kyrie left early in his career.
Yeah the Rockets and Spurs could’ve spooked them (and that was the version before Boogie Cousins), but you could tell they ain’t have the margin of error with superstars. Both lost one of theirs (CP0 and Kawhi) and folded immediately. GS would have to lose two of those guys to even lose a series (Raptors)

Right I agree so that Warriors team imo had to fold cuz Im sure their ratings tanked around that time. People got tired of seeing them win. Then Draymond saying that team could beat a 90s Bulls team. It was just a bad time for the league imo.
