I was in the studio for her first three mixtapes and features after. Sat in damn near all those sessions. She wasn't writing sh*t, lol. She can spit what she's given very naturally, but she isn't tearing up no pads with a pen. She'll never be honest about that publicly though.

Her career is full of her trying to be the rap version of Lady Gaga, but now she's trying to act like she's some Hip Hop purist and concerned with being a lyricist and true to the culture. The minute another female MC gets some shine, she gets mad and starts crying about it. She's literally the reason why the labels think they can market the overly sexual sh*t they do today.

She was showing up to award shows rocking pink chicken wings chains and sh*t, but wants to pretend like she hasn't played a part in the shucking and jiving we still see today. Come on.

I acknowledge that Nicki is the GOAT from her own era….Her Monster verse is legendary and she can rap with the best of them but her personality and how she carries herself has did her no favors.

She isolated herself from the women hip hop scene during her prime….only collaborated with male rappers.

You would think that coming up under Lil Wayne that she would have some humility or be giving like Drake. I don’t even think labels are actively trying to replace her…she sounds paranoid.

The labels are just following the hot trend right now which is thot rap…women have a bigger spotlight/push now then 10 years ago when Nicki was on top. I think she is afraid of being forgotten and having her sales be surpassed.
