I'm providing context to the stat. The biggest/hottest rapper in the game can be featured damn near on everything where as features aren't a part of other genres. Justin Beiber for example has like 9 features total in his career and 3 of them came this year and are DJ songs. Beyonce has done like 10 features total in her career. Fact of the matter is, in the digital era it's much easier for a big artist to have a song chart. As soon as they put a song up it'll immediately shoot up the itunes charts, youtube plays, etc. The consolidation of radio stations makes it 100x easier as well. iHeartMedia owns like 80% of the radio stations. It's easy for any big artist to get played on multiple stations in every market every hour on top of the hour.
