I really dont see the hype behind nicki. Shes only popping because theres no other female rap artist

She is more of a weaker rapping version of Rihanna more than a Lil Kim or Foxy Brown.
She strives of big pop hits nowadays with mad writers and all that shyt.

Other female emcees do not affect her, she's making songs that all the 12 year old girls in fukking Paraguay listen to. She isn't really targeting the hiphop fanbase like other female emcees have been doing. Missy was a bit more like Nicki but she was super talented (Nicki is talented but she doesn't show it), creative and targeted an older and smarter fanbase.
