It was a sign of the times in hip hop...that’s how bad things were in the grand scheme.

For example - Jay Z had dropped a mediocre BP3 and terrible feature verses all over the place at that time...Andre 3000 was gone...Nas was on a bit of a hiatus...everybody really thought Detox was coming...T.I. was in and out of jail....50 Cent’s career was going downward, etc.

Lil Wayne was the king of a very weak era in hip hop.

People literally don’t care about anyone’s verse on that song but hers .

Monster not even a top 10 verse for her but it was a moment :yeshrug:.

Dope dealer she washed meek and Ross that’s a better verse .

She just got praised for a couple verses this year and you still going with this narrative .

Released two albums after him .

The nikka who beating his dikk for shillings is who you think wrote for her ?

Why isn’t he writing for other women or himself ?

Plus he has admitted he never wrote shyt for her on murder mook podcast .

Ross also saw her write The Whole verse .

There a reason she anchored the track. A decade later and they still trying to discredit her. I was listening to Motorsport the other day and had to turn off Takeoff verse coming after Nicki. Them dudes got murdered on their own shyt by two females.

This here.

That Nicki sh*t was always overrated. And probably why I haven't bothered to listen to it since it dropped. Times were mad stale back then, so a lot of mediocre sh*t was being held up as "classic" because the landscape was so dry. They had dude sign an NDA and deny he wrote that for her, but 16 years later, he's gone and she's magically never been able to spit anything remotely close to that verse. Come on now.
