at people saying Kanye tried to warn us. All he did was get up there and take an award from Taylor Swift. Then he talked about how Beyonce should've won and they do this all the time. Not only did he not proceed to show up to the VMA's, but he's also complained about awards he didn't win. I'm not at all
for Taylor Swift, but she shouldn't even be the target. It's not her fault for them nominating her music or treating her like gold. The real culprit here is MTV. Why are people, our people in particular, still giving validity to the VMA's? This is the same network who didn't play videos from Black artists until Michael Jackson. Yet we out here complaining when they don't acknowledge our achievements.
I give absolutely zero fukks about all three parties involved. 
And while we're at it, these artists that want to play the feminist card need to sit down. Preach about women talking down on each other yet subliminal diss them with your songs. Everybody speculated that "Bad Blood" was about Katy Perry even Katy Perry herself. Preach feminism, yet show up to the same VMA's that has Miley Cyrus as a host. The same Miley that had Robin Thicke grinding on her while she made a poor attempt at twerking. Yet, they get us as men for objectifying women.

Seems to me she's on top because she makes good/decent pop music that broad demographic listens to. If we're comparing her to Nicki, songs like anaconda and Only kind of have a limited range of people that wanna hear that bullshyt. Taylor has access to a portion of that crowd as well as people who exist out of the age range and lifestyle that would find something like letting someone fukk because they sell cocaine..appealing.
