nas was premature but its really gotten worse ever since then.. 08-present has gotten progressively worse. the ringtone era was awful and in the mainstream it is dead. awards shows care about rap less than ever and its radio presence is super thin outside of drake.. the last few rap hits were white people. (iggy macklemore).. other than them and drake the only time rap is on the radio is when its a feature on ariana grande/ chris brown or miguel song
