He might have been because his origin story makes no sense. But the manner in which militias or the military in Africa get rid of leaders doesn't make much sense. You can't butcher a deposed leader like Charles did Doe and parade his body in the streets like a dog, or kill Gadafi in the manner they did because it (a) Diminishes the seat of the president and (b) in doing (a) you who has taken power have to be ruthless to prevent the same from happening to you.
They should capture the leaders, and as bad as they were, show the public that a constitution exists and you respect it by giving them a trial and then hang them. Not just kill them on some vengeance style like what's happening to this finance minister.
