Rock and Country music have always been popular in African countries. Even some artists have played there. People in America just grow up with stereotypes cemented in their heads.

Where?

I know Elton, Madonna, Boy George, George Michael, Genesis(Phil Collins), Celine Dion, Bryan Adam's always got love out there.

But Country and Rock, thats a strecth

Alot of older generation have vinyl rock and country albums. I talked with some friends about this who's parents/uncles had vinyl rock albums they used to play as well as country music.
