This and the Dawn of the Dead remake are by far my favorite two in the genre. I've never even bothered to watch movies like Diary of the Dead and Survival of the Dead cuz I know they wont live up to these.

Not really a fair comparison being one is a serious zombie film and the other one is a horror comedy that never takes itself too seriously. ROTLD is my favorite zombie film ever and has a great trilogy as well I don't count those Sci-fi debacles. I particularly like the serious love story angle of the 3rd one.
