nikka stood on that "I love everybody" hill too. What's funny is what lead up to the back and forth. A fan asked a boxing question. I think the question was "who do you have in Tank vs Haney" Ocho was like "I love them both, that's a good matchup" or something neutral like that. and Shannon went in, about why he would be trash on First Take. I was like damn, this shyt came outta nowhere lol.

At end Ocho was like "You know what, I dont even want to be on first take anymore"

I listen to them more for the off field/court stories. Couple things I want to give my opinion on. For someone to grow up dirt poor, Shannon is bougie as heck. I mean dude grew up with no running water. Also i don't understand the Gilbert hate. I think he's a great addition and with his personality, he's a great fit with the team.

Yeah, I was skeptical at first. But Gil's contribution has been dope do far.

The inside details he gave about the Poole/Dray situation was very intetesting.

Yea, the Gil hate is weird. Seems to be a case of his reputation of being a playful/jokey nikka got ppl not taking him seriously. But watching the show(gils arena), you can tell he really respects the game. Even when he was going at 80/70s ball. He said he did it to shine a light on that era and he does respect it. Ball players seem to respect him and he puts others on (Cam shouted him out and Gil helped with their deal).
