Is this tweet real:ohhh:

History repeats itself. Kap will go down in history for his sacrifice. Public perception is gradually turning in his favor, as was the case for Ali.

White people are cliche like that. Quote Ali and MLK, two huge proponents of protests that white people HATED at the time, while condemning Kap. The irony.

Exactly, it says a lot when someone is willing to risk it ALL for their cause/beliefs regardless if you agree with him or not its respected. And like i tell my friends long ago Ali was HATED for everything that came out of his mouth, he was racisit, he was crazy, he was stupid etc... Once the dust settled, media changing their stance and years ago by he became iconic. I believe a lot of this will happen with Kap, his movement is SO much bigger then people think it is and wont be truly appreciated until years down the road.

For now he will be considered stupid, crazy and racist by the keyboard warriors, I have supported his stance from day 1 regardless if i have witnessed or received the treatment he stands up for. Its way more important than a sport.

This sets a great precedent.
Kaep spoke up and still got paid.

Before this the popular narrative was you’ll lose endorsements and marketability if you stand up (in this case, not stand up) for what you believe in - this Nike deal flips the script.

Hopefully we’ll see more athletes follow Kaep’s blueprint.
