That video posted a couple pages ago lays it out well. Nike got real cheap with it once Fanatics got involved because they helped produce the apparel ASAP when players were traded or started making noise out of nowhere (Jeremy Lin).

IMO Michael Rubin (Fanatics) is an astute but fukkin scammin ass businessman who came out of nowhere himself and I can’t wait for the day he goes down…if at all due to the backing and affiliations he has.
