Devil??? If anything they are using the fact that he has raised "awareness" and money about the disease as a crutch to lessen the fallback. Are you not listening to Cowherd, Mike Greenberg and the rest of the puppets on ESPN and Sirius sports radio shows this morning? They are pushing this to the side and playing it as "it's not the worse thing to ever happen in sports". Somehow Barry Bonds name has came up a lot in these discussions when there are minimal to no parallels at all. Plus are there any other cyclists who used a life threatening disease, etc for a humanitarian cause that's raised over half a billion?

no one gives a shyt about cycling dog. lance was a manufactured star anyways.

But you can't leave out that he also made millions and millions of dollars that went into his own pocket. Let's not paint him out to be someone that was so giving and charitable as if he wasn't benefitting greatly from it all.

Like a decade ago it was! I have no problem with Lance retroactively living out one of the 90's more popular fantasy of smashing an Olsen twin(s).

I'm actually upset mainly because he lied all these years. The French were accusing him of doping but he said they were just jealous that an American won their sport. I thought the French, being the French, were just a bunch of whining pussies. Now, I see that their suspicions were true and Lance was the liar. For those who don't care about professional cycling, it's not a biggie.

Greg Lemond made it into pro-cycling and it was all an uphill battle. No regrets. No cheating. It's like any other professional sport, it is very hard to keep on winning year after year because of up-and-comers. If you look at the Tour de France history, winners stop showing on the podium and take a back seat when the flashy new kid comes on board. Lance won seven times. That is nuts. Even though he's done a lot through the Livestrong foundation, he ruined his own street cred.

Eleven members of his team dimed him out. Not just one or two. Was it cool? No. But, I'm glad they did.

It's like this. Wayne Gretzky and Michael Jordan became legends and they didn't cheat in their respective sports. Lance did.

Lance Armstrong was stripped of all 7 titles today.

The New York Daily News published an article accusing Lance of strong-arming folk who accused him of doping.
Today.
