Gen Z f*cks with NB and Asics heavily but the shoes have been out 40+ years (probably a lot longer) so it's not possible for us to "force it".

NB is not cheap it’s usually more expensive or on the same price tier as Jordans

They took over due to shifts in fashion and comfort. They’ve always had motion but consumers shifted to their brand of comfort and aesthetic over the blocky Jordans and some Nikes. Certain Nike silhouettes are still movers like the Vomeros for example.
