I'm glad it's over. They burnt Jordan brand out. Same Breds every other year. There's no prestige to any of the classics anymore. They jerked the 11s, 3s and 4s, 13s and lastly the 1s. It's over.


These Gammas will be my last purchase. I'm in OG sneakerhead. Had the Pearl Foamposite in the 90s when they first dropped. That's when you had to be a hustler or from a rich family to have Foams and Jays.

I have no idea where you all live but Gen Z is still very much into Jordans.

The cement 3's and black cat 3's came out a year ago and both still sell above retail. Same with the bred 4's and reimagined 5's.

Now if the shadow 10's, the black cat 4's, and the gamma 11's sit that's a different story.

Nobody young cares about the grapes because they don't care about Fresh Prince. It's specific colorways that are sitting, and Jordan has been flooding the market.

Being a sneakerhead / hypebeast is considered kinda cringe by the kids these days.
They've pivoted to more lifestyle / luxury oriented brands like ONRunning, New Balance, Hoka, etc.

To them, Nike / Jordans signal poverty mindset, other brands have capitalized on the growing wellness, yoga, run-clubs, etc. oriented spaces. Also, the youth don't care about Athlete endorsements and have much less of a connection to professional sports in general compared to previous generations.

Reading these comments and looking on TikTok, why can't people admit the real reason why Jordan and Nikes aren't as popular it's because they're expensive and new balance 9060 and asics 1130 are cheaper like that's the reason and I don't blame the people who wants to pay 200+ for shoes every week when I can get a new pair for asics 1130 for 110 if more people were getting the expensive asics and new balance models then I would believe people just don't wanna wear Nikes/jordans but that's not the case
