Common knowledge? Golden state was better across the board and had home court on the finals. Last home team to lose game 7 in the finals was nearly 40 years ago and the home team across all rounds wins game 7 around 81% of the time. Love plays no defense so what the cavaliers gained defensively by playing Thompson they'd lose by playing love.

No. That leads to a faster pace game. Means more possessions for both teams. More scoring chances and even on wide open shots Cleveland could not convert. You've clearly never seen what Kevin love and half the time kyrie Irving look like on the defensive end of the court. Those dudes are turnstiles.

This is fairly on point but they lost just 2 games by double digits and while those guys suck on defense it's better than going with shumpert and JR smith just by default. I think the east was worse last year and it was definitely worse in the early 2000's (those nets teams being the best the east had while averaging 82 points a game against the Spurs in the finals in 2003
). The steroid thing is still a sad baseless claim like or dislike the guy. It was definitely a shameless PR move to head back up there. The edited version of this gets a solid 8-8.5 out of 10 from me.
no with love in, TT isnt in. with Kyrie in, Lebron is not scoring 40 every game playing iso ball for 20 seconds a possession. The problem when people say this is they keep Lebrons stat line the same but add Love and Kyrie on TOP of that. Thats not how it works, thats not how it ever works. You gotta subtract shyt too..
