Had the same reaction when I went to visit my great aunt in Charleston, shyt threw me for a minute. I’m like why do these people who live hundreds of miles away sound like home!? I just didn’t know it was THAT close in relation to vocabulary tho.

Being in a hood doesn't mean you don't know basic hygiene and survival. That you eat meat thats not well taken care of or you don't know how to cook. None of these things are because you are from the hood. Poverty doesn't dictate any limitations beyond finances. The other shyt is more about how you are raised.

Dusty activity being regular in a hood just means there are actually low class people who are at the bottom not because they lack resources but abilities. Not because they lack opportunity. Being broke is not synonymous with being dusty. Let's not conflate these things.
