Dudes are caking off unemployment right now. Even white collar workers are making bank. Don't know how it is where you live, but here in Massachusetts, the average unemployed worker is now making more staying at home than if they were at work.

This. If anything purposeful (no offense to those dealing with health issues) came out of this it’s being able to Reset and reconnect with family. Having time to actually talk and listen, think, evaluate - we definitely take time, days and energy for granted.

Bro I go for full rides weekly for at least 45 min. I drive from south suburbs to Lake Shore Drive, get some gourmet curbside take out downtown,and blow one on the way back... Feels like normal for that few hoursI work from home.
I won’t lie, it’s been real convenient not having to drive to work, and the extra sleep is nice and all, but I wouldn’t hate having to go back. If nothing else, I’d actually get to see something different again. I been looking at nothing but my home and the surrounding neighborhood for about a month now and it’s driving me insane.
I’m over this whole thing. I wanna go out drinking on Friday nights with co-workers again, driving places and meeting up with friends on the weekend, fishing on Sunday mornings. I miss social interaction, and I'm not even all that social. fukk this coronavirus bullshyt.
another big part of it, outside of the fact that they're mentally weak and can't be isolated for long periods of time, is that, they derive alot of pleasure out of racially tormenting black people, since they feel powerless in their real lives, especially those Karens. so she probably misses that as well.We had a meeting about this today at my job, going over the beginning stages of the reintegrating process, when to start, how to implement it, what our feelings are on it, etc. Since I’m on the communications team and work with HR, we are the ones facilitating this for the company. It hasn’t even been discussed with other workers outside of us.
Long story short, me and a few of my coworkers banned together to say there needs to be an option where employees who don’t feel safe and have anxiety about catching the virus, or that don’t have childcare for the summer months can continue to stay remote until vaccines are offered. So my boss has agreed to talk about the possibility of making that an option (esp for higher risk individuals) with our leadership team. Hopefully this will be an option. I don’t ever want to have to go back to the physical office.
And you would think a good amount of remote workers would take that option but tbh I’ve been talking to a lot who say they want to come back to the office. Most of them are white people. They keep saying “I’m such a people person, this is so hard on me.”
My sister said this white woman was trying to implement a program that would require them to have to meet in person, and everyone voted it down in favor of a virtual program, and that ww broke down and started crying on the phone saying she just misses everyone and wants to do it in person and blah blah.
i talked to a woman the other day that said she can’t wait to get back in the office. I heard her three kids crying in the background... And to me those are all personal problems, shyt those are her kids, no one told her to have them. And you’ve got people that would rather go to work than to deal with the kids or the person they married smh. Again I’ve only heard these sentiments from whites at my company.The rest of us really don’t gaf if we never see a one of them again.
