Fck a thief and a robber, no case for retreat because robber pistol whipped so he engaged in an assault, won't even mater what state this is in for this to be considered self defense. You can't assault someone with a firearm after threatening them and then expect to flee and not get shot if the other person is armed because you've already established intent of bodily harm.
