He’s been boring to me for a minute, only verse I’ve heard from him that stood out at all the past couple of years was his feature on Wants and Needs…everything else has been random auto tuned rambling midness… I knew he lost his spark when the rollout to his last album started…that was supposed to be his springboard to superstar status, and he led with that wack ass “Heeeeeyyy” song :mjlol:

Don't forget Future :sas1:
Nah. If anything, Baby's situation should make you appreciate Future's longevity more. He's been at the top of every shift in trap across multiple years and prob found more mainstream success last year than any previous year. I feel pretty confident that Future will still be Future in two years, whereas I think Baby might be already done in two years.

He has always been trash. I’m convinced a lot of fans don’t think for themselves until the novelty wears off and hype dies down.

These nikkas are not even artists, just some Rando dudes who took up rapping as a hustle and it shows.

I feel like dude had a ghost writer that is no longer assisting him. That “Bigger Picture” song wasn’t exactly revolutionary but it was clearly out of his range intellectually and it came out quickly at the right time.

All them nikkas pretty much make the same song over and over with slight variations. Durk, Gunna, too. they don't have shyt for actual song content so yeah the shyt is pretty redundant.

Shame Young Thug was a actual deviant because out of that crew he was the one with actual ambition musically
Durk before king von did not make the same song over and over.

I miss Dungeon Family types leading ATL sound. It was different, southern, street, thoughtful, party, had that knock, gritty, smooth, creative, etc.

Atlanta, like every other spot, just started focusing on the street and everything else became secondary.

That's why I root for the Spillage Village folks.

It’s a damn shame what happened to my city. I largely blame it in the strip club culture. When women of ill repute are dictating what’s hot and image matters more than talent, it’s a race to the bottom.

You end up with the Lil Baby’s and 21 Savages being looked at as legitimate artists. And anyone who speaks out is called a hater and deemed out of touch.
