Y’all tripping....

Every album Pac dropped from this one to Makeveli ranged from very good to dope.

I was a shorty but I remember every damn box Chevy with rims and a kickerbox in the trunk was riding down the street bumping ‘Violent’ and ‘Soulja’s Story’

It seems like people like to downplay Pac’s albums in order to diminish him as the undeniable GOAT :stopitslime:
They always downplay his first two..I haven’t seen too many people hate on matw, all eyez n makaveli (or thug life)

2pacalypse had so much depth, its as lyrical as you can get

The storytelling on some of the tracks is amazing, he was doin that shyt at age 19-20.

2pacalypse now wasnt a very good a album, but it had gems like this. You could hear the raw potential of what he what he was going to be. nikka was 19 making shyt like this

19 wasn't particularly young for a rapper back then.

and people weren't really touting rappers who already dropped an album as a future prospect. you were supposed to make that impact when your album dropped. not wait for the next one.

pac had a weird reversal of a career where he got better with every album. he wouldn't have had the chance to do that if his buzz wasn't fueled off of acting & controversy.

Remember he had C-Murder do a cover of Ride on Our Enemies, which hadn't even been released at the time?

it didn't matter.

songs like those were out on the streets via the makaveli bootlegs, which cat paid more attention to than the posthumous pac retail albums.

they were already released in our eyes.
