So basically what I get is leasing is balling on a budget. You got cash to throw away every month but can't buy the car outright.

If you have to take a loan, you're not paying for it outright


Leasing is good if you don't want the hassle of repairs, maintenance, and like to drive new.

99% of EVERY vehicle ad you see on TV gives you a lease price.
You hear on these commercials about getting cars for "only $238 a month", that's the lease price. They wont air an ad talking about getting a car for "only $650 a month" They know that's not appealing to people.

Alot of famous ppl lease b/c they're never home, or dont drives themselves anyway, so leasing for them is better than buying. Plus it helps maintain their image to always be in a new vehicle.

Leasing is cool for some, but not for me.

Really, the only vehicles you should buy are work trucks (Pickups), sports cars that retain resale value (GTR/Viper/Vettes) or point A to B daily drivers that are dirt cheap.

If you're buying luxury cars or shyt to stunt on people you're playing a losing game cause you'll always get fukked when it's time to sell the car.

I thought leasing was for people that have money and always wanna drive the newest cars. A lot of people are always trading in there cars so maybe leasing is a better way. I dont know much about this stuff.

if you live on the east coast
where public trans. is great

down south you would go over the miles without thinking


also you dont have to worry about your warranty running out
so your will always have a great running vehicle

Exactly, I could see if it was some beastly shyt like a Viper, GTR or Vette where they still hold value even after the new body styles drop.

But copping an Audi S4 like 2 years into it's production run will be an L when that new and improved model drops 2 years later and you got 3 years left on the payment

Leasing like someone said is like balling on a budget. I leased a new altima 2015 recently, it's a better whip than I see most my age driving and I don't have to worry about repairs most likely. That being said after this lease ends I'm definitely buying a used vehicle. The idea of no car payments is heavenly. I used to work at a vehicle repair shop too so I know how to take care of my whip.
