Im married, so im not on the oustide looking in with this issue..

Besides benifits, whats the point of getting the state involved? I've signed a few documents that ask for beneficiaries after death, but it didn't seem as if marriage was a deal breaker for listing said person.. So you don't have to get married to be named beneficiaries to your spouse..

If you listed the pro's concerning why get married, as far as benifits is concerned, im sure people here can name some work arounds as well..

Like, do you really need a license from the state to show your commitment to your spouse?

If a couple drew up their own martial contract, thats not acceptable at least to the public?

If people believe a mans word is bond, why wouldn't a contrat between couples suffice?

Me and my woman agree if this dont work, I'll peel her off 10k and we done.. 5k we done.. You get nothing we done.. And so on.. If both parties can't agree, then they move on..

As far as im concerned, getting a marriage license from the state is a life insurance policy for the weakest link in the relationship..

Think about it.

I feel the same.... And I dont trust women in their emotional state to make wise decisions when given certain power during divorce.

We see these situations play out in courtrooms all the time

Its simple,

If the relationship lasts forever.... It worked out.

If it doesnt..... You can part ways without the white man's involvement. Unless children are involved obviously.

Still the same relationship.

Same committment.

Same love.

Piece of paper changes nothing.

A marriage should be about the combination, accumulation & growth of wealth.

Thats the only time where it makes sense.

But 2 people getting married strictly due to the spirit of emotion is foolishness :scust:

Emotions dont last.

& the courts involvement is unnecessary.

Real talk.. Women wanna get married because they want a net if it dont work..

I take that back.. Women want that paper from the state for security reasons if it doesn't work out..

As far as kids.. You can draw up a contract on that.. It will be honorable in the court of law..

We've been had..

Marriage is for business not for love. Leave the romantic feelings for your woman at night my brother, is it prosperous for you to get married one would think would be keep to being happy in marriage. (most people marry for love, then realize it's about money they fall apart. If you can love your woman like yourself you both got to have a plan to keep your pockets right. Atleast this is my personal opinion on it.)

It is worth it. The problem is that people are either lonely & thirsty for companionship or only pay attention to the physical and look past negative behavior of their partner. Ot they overlook that marriage is a business and aren't building anything with wifey. A lot of the GMB nikkas are either selfish hypersexuals or extremely scorned

Y'all already going sideways..

Marriage isn't the issue..

Do that shyt on your terms..

If anything, this is more about couples who can't work out an agreement..

That's a part of the business aspect don't you think OP?
It should be understood as mutual sharing of responsibilities before getting married ijs

All facts

In my circle of friends I have a lot of people that been together 10 years or more kids home and no marriage. They are the most rational and down to earth people. Others did it for their folks or tradition. The folks that had the most expensive wedding in our circle make the least amount of money and they had to downgrade their rental home after the wedding. I'm sure that is affecting their marriage. They could have had a home right now if they didn't go all out on some fancy wedding. :manny:

SMH...

When millennials talk about sexuality and changing the game.. Mfers be all in..

"I was born a nikka but now i want to be a bytch" and people be all in.. Supporting and everything..

But when people have a different opinion on marriage, everyone got a thumb in their mouth..

@CorporateTrapper take notes breh..

No relationship has ever lasted forever. Everybody is 0 for in their relationship attempts.

If only you were this wise before you signed those papers.
Nobody told you to fall for the okey doke and sign those documents.
Thats not what I am advocating when I talk about marriage, you can be married righteously in spirit and in ceremony.
