I don't think people sleeping on him, it's just hard to gauge what type of player he'll be....a lot of that will be determined by how minny chooses to use him....from what i saw of him, to me it breaks down like this:
- if they try to force him to be a pg, it'll limit him....you can tell he's not comfortable playing pg....he gets timid and struggles with setting people up/initiating the offense....which isn't all his fault, at ucla, kyle Anderson did more of those things....plus you can tell that's not his mentality approaching the game...
- if they use him as a sg, he'll have a better chance of reaching his ceiling...he's more relaxed playing it...he attacks, uses his athleticism to be aggressive at creating offense/getting the ball to others off the moves he makes, etc...it's just a better fit cause you can tell he has a score first mentality....
....the shyt people are asking of him and exum should be reversed....he should play sg and exum should play pg...they both are more natural playing those positions respectfully, you can see it while watching them play...
another thing: he's small as hell body wise...yea, he's young and has time to mature, but when you see him in person, he looks frail....which could be bad for his career initially...cause he's not afraid to attack the rim/challenge bigger players, but if they start bodying him, that shyt might take a toll on him....
