She makes my blood boil regardless but even I have to admit, from what little bit of a kayfabe standpoint we have, this was her year.

i was actually the person who called for nikki to get the belt before the wwe realized she ramped.
yet, when she got the strap she was at the top of her game and she did a good job.
plus, wwe was trying to move pr away from aj lee.
so, they ran with trying to upstage aj with nicki's title reign.
