And you’d still be wrong because his go to was his turn around fadeaway to the baseline or his drop steps into his jumper with his back to the basket. He would use little baby hooks going into the lane but that’s about it. if you actually knew what you were talking about about you would highlight how he needed to be fed and was more reliant on guards helping him get to his spots more than other centers and how awful he was passing out of basic double teams. The only "egregiously wrong" thing here is your reading comprehension.
Notice how I'm speaking about his back-to-the-basket game as a point of him being limited offensively. Yes, we are all well aware his shot profile primarily consisted of him being a jumpshooter, which is why I made it a point of emphasis that with his back to the basket, all he really had was a hook shot.
Perhaps next time when you get involved in other folks' conversations you actually take the time to read the chain of responses properly before jumping in.
In your attempt to save face, you've embarrassed yourself even more. And you’d still be wrong because his go to was his turn around fadeaway to the baseline or his drop steps into his jumper with his back to the basket.
I'm glad we got there in the end. So basically you quoted me for no other reason other than to beg for my attention? He would use little baby hooks going into the lane but that’s about it.
Actually, if you knew what you were talking about, in comparison to other centers during the 90s, he was well-above average in this department, certainly when it came to getting to his spots. As much as the 90s gets gassed for its litany of big men, the sheer majority of them were stiffs, and while Ewing had his limitations on offense, he wasn't in the same boat as the likes of Mutumbo, Ratliff, Dudley, Bradley, Spencer, Muresan, Kleine, Ostertag, Geiger etc.if you actually knew what you were talking about about you would highlight how he needed to be fed and was more reliant on guards helping him get to his spots more than other centers and how awful he was passing out of basic double teams.
You eat sleep breathe NBA and still get shyt wrongAutistic babble

This guy's a horse fukker who cares what he thinks.

There’s a reason why NBC is leaning into the nostalgia of the 90s with their NBA coverage, it’s to try to capture and convey the feeling. You can rewatch all the YouTube with a modern day mindset but you will never capture the feelings and moments unless you were there in that time.I really believe nobody goes on YouTube and watch these games from the 80’s and 90’s and pick them apart like we do today’s game. Today people are so short reel centric and the best highlights from those eras get shown. All that does is fuel peoples nostalgia bias because they to lazy to go back and watch those games.
If you were to go back you would see not everybody was physical like the Pistonsfor god sakes the Pistons are the reason for the rule changes with fouls cause Jordan went to the news about them. You watch those games today and I mean the WHOLE game you’ll see the shyt the current generation are getting condemned for? You’ll have a field day with yester year.
I dont get this narrtive, his 3 mvps are 3 of the best years in nba history lol....to compare any of the 3 to a ton of mvp seasons ie a rose or nash isnt even close. hes historically greatGreat player but him having three MVPs is shocking to me.
The nba has always celebrated the past but, what it use to not do is at the expense of the current generation. Today’s media unlike past media rather shyt on the current product to be up the past. Especially with the era of players being media now. The chucks, shaqs, etc who have ego and hate cause the $$$ this generation makes so they shyt on them and go with “back in my day”.There’s a reason why NBC is leaning into the nostalgia of the 90s with their NBA coverage, it’s to try to capture and convey the feeling. It’s not the influence of former players or the media rather it’s today’s players are not like that when it comes to competition. The NBA has been trying to generate competition among them with in-season tournaments, play-in tournaments, all star game format changes etc.. The fans can see through the bsThe nba has always celebrated the past but, what it use to not do is at the expense of the current generation. These are the voices being listened to so yes audience going to rehash what they hear. There is a reason why marketing, media, etc is a billion dollar industry it’s because influence. That’s why the nfl is so successful regardless of the rule changes because the NFL knows not to let the media ruin the machine. shytting on the players is always a recipe for disaster with the audience.
