Fighting dirty doesn't work for "progressives" and Nina Turner has never had a messaging issue in Cleveland.

This isn't by race, but because of Cleveland's segregation - you can get a good idea just from looking at the chart.
The whitest and wealthiest suburbs pulled for Shontel Brown, the Black neighborhoods (aside from East Cleveland) pulled for Nina Turner

She had more money raised, but after the South Carolina surprise that was pulled on Bernie, is this outcome really a surprise? I donated to her, but my criticism of leftists, and Democrats in general still stand. People like confidence and people like power. We don't wield power the same way that Republicans do though. Mostly because our mindsets are different than conservatives, who while they pride themselves on their freedom and independence, want to be led by someone strong. They resonate with someone who will come out like, "I'm here to bust skulls and take names because God damn it I love you and I'm here for you. Together we will kick their asses and make sure you have a secure and safe future. I will protect you and your way of life." They also feed into their need to be as selfish as they want to be. That formula isn't going to work for Democrats. Figuratively, the left is more susceptible to a big butt and a smile. The confidence and swagger to talk the panties off of you. Think JFK, RFK (Though I think he actually gave a fukk), Bill Clinton, Obama. Real leftists, like Nina Turner, are like Daria Morgendorfer who don't fit in with any of the bullshyt I wrote above. She's going to come with the facts, but facts aren't sexy (Democrats) and facts don't evoke primal feelings (Republicans).

I live in OH 11. Turner was looked at widely here as a loony foul mouthed disloyal saboteur and bomb thrower and carpetbagger with useless celeb Dem support that don't mean shyt. We saw this shyt coming for months.

This was an open primary that anybody (Dems, Indys, GOPers, & 3rd party) could vote in?
Brown will just be another face in congress. I doubt her name will be mentioned again. Establishment job done
Republicans didn't vote for her though. This was a democrat primary.
