:whoo:@ how furious some of the nation is that a country(russia) has done to us(america) what we've been doing to other nations for decades.
It's the nature of power. If I have power I trust myself way more than the other guy who would have it. You claim to be libertarian so stop with this bullshyt false equivalency. You can't claim to want people to have freedom in most every aspect in their lives then:yeshrug: when a foreign nation tries to subvert the people's will. Oochie Wallie :hula: one mic

The only person here who can actually support this narrative, ironically enough, is Nap.

:mjcry: All these ideologies are garbage juice.

Also can someone explain to me why PF believes a Republican lead house and Senate would give one shyt about progressive issues. All the media attention in the world ain't gonna stop this nonsense. The Republicans been getting disrespected in thier town halls. A Congressman got shot this week over policy positions.:wow:

What are the repubs doing?
:merchant: Hurry let's pass this repeal on healthcare before someone sees it.

I feel for @biscuitsnbangers. Sorry it had to be you fam. :mjcry:

But people had the opportunity. This what they voted for. This what they wanted. I am just gonna let them get what they voted for and watch this Russia shyt.
Let them eat cake.

So,you think that republicans are holding power indefinitely?
Naw bruh, that is why they need to listen to the ppl and the media, but since no one is holding them to be accountable cuz everyone is being diverted with this Russia bs nothing will change.

But y'all stay with your witch hunt against Russia, and letting all the real problems slide under the radar.

@Pink_Freud I keep telling you people aren't being diverted. They know what they voted for. That's why progressives have been losing elections. The people spoke with their votes. That don't want UHC. They don't want free college tuition. They don't want to study climate change.

They want jobs. They want walls against Mexicans. They wanna deport Muslims. They want to repeal Obamacare. They want to cut business regulations. The people told you what they want. Give em what they want.:wow:

One minute I hear they lost the popular vote, the next minute I hear the ppl got what they wanted...so what is it?

I mean, clearly the majority of ppl don't want those things, so why are you focused so much on the minority and acting like they speak for everyone?

Not just that, but what makes you think that the ppl that did vote for the republicans even wanted all that?

Even the fallout most ppl were saying they were more anti Hillary, and many still want progressive things.

Y'all stay letting the media frame the narrative

I never said the majority got what they wanted. Also the chances of Dems taking the house or Senate in 2018 are remote. Chances for actual progressives are extremely low.

Also I don't know why you bringing up HRC. She didn't campaign on anything progressive. Bernie did. And Bernie lost to HRC.

And I don't believe those people because the repubs didn't lie to them. They trying to do exactly what the campaign promised they would. There was no heel turn. If they didn't want this why vote for it.
Anybody voting for the reality TV star in direct opposition to their own interests deserves a Darwin award. Stop blaming the media. We know who the media picked. The people decided differently.:wow:

The chances are low because the DNC is still just as corrupt and mismanaged as it ever was. They need to get their shyt sorted out, and they need to start getting serious about making REAL change and stop worrying about BS and selfish garbage.

I brought Hillary early as a reason why ppl voted Trump (not to why they didn't vote Bernie). They(not all, I know this, but many did, and even said it afterwards) voted Trump because they were anti-hillary. And Hillary beat out Bernie because of dirty politics and BS that was later discovered to be true....

And many ppl voted for Republicans based off vague intentions that many thought were going to prove to be fruitful. lots of ppl HATED Obamacare, it was too expensive and it fukked it over for many. So when you have someone coming in saying they are gonna fix it, and make it cheaper they bought it....and that is just one of many lines the republicans sold to the voters. They also said they were gonna drain the swamp, put in term limits, get rid of corruption in politics, and voters bought those lines as well.

so if you don't see these lies not coming true being a "heel turn" then you haven't been paying attention. Ppl were promised jobs, ppl were promised better and cheaper health care, ppl were promised that the swamp was gonna be drained.... But yea, no lies were told...bruh.....You STAY being fake. or at least intentionally dishonest.

Pink is interested in nothing but distraction and deflection. Never answers a question and scurries along once someone pins him. Dude has a very surface level understanding of politics (and that's me being very generous).
how am I distracting and deflecting? clowns liek you would rather talk about ME than the actual topic.

What questions were asked that weren't answered or were deflected? your band of misfits on here have done that the whole time..

So either your right and people had all the good intentions in the world and we're mislead at every turn by corrupt politicians and one reality TV star.

Or I am and people are a bunch of dumbasses who view research as a sin. Trying to believe simple answers lay at the heart of complex problems.

Regardless of which one of these is objective reality, what makes you believe progressives have any sort of chance?

In the Silver Lining
What happened? An enemy of ours waged war on the most important feature of the American government, a democratic election, in order to destabilize our nation. Period. Russia doesn't have military power like they used to so they look to cause chaos in order to gain an advantage.

In this chaos, they find witting or unwitting agents to help them act on their goals. This time it was the Trump campaign.

Now those agents(if good, Trump's staff is pure garbage and could be doing way more damage IMO) can carry out their agendas and the enemy's if they so desire.

Lets go to your points...

Clean water: Corrupted elections and gerrymandering conspire to take power away from the public that needs the help. Your water problem NEVER gets fixed.

Jobs: Affirmative action, deregulation, civil rights repeals all could end up destoyed leaving minorites with a far more difficult time trying to get a "decent" job.

Health care: Ruling party doesn't care about national health care. Pares down to bare minimum. Cuts funding to healthcare groups and research. Now everyone, even the wealthy, are adversly effected.

Those are simple examples. We haven't even faced a real crisis yet.

Let a former KGB head/totalitarian and terrorist cells control the most powerful nation in the world's government brehs. :stopitslime:

If you really believed Russia had anything to do with our election results, I have a bridge in Brooklyn I want to sell you.....I'll throw in a bridge in Queens for half off......

If you that gullible........might as well do business together....call my secretary to set up an appointment at Finesse Capital and Financing.......

I really do think most ppl have good intentions. Just as I think a lot of ppl have different views of what is good for ppl.

But I also think that yes, ppl have been misled by corrupt politicians. In fact ppl have ALWAYS been led and fooled by corrupt politicians. That is why everyone fell for the con of Trump being something fresh for politics. that he was "different" and "unconventional" and that he really was going to bring a new brand of politics that didn't have anything to do with the old guard ways of career politicians and dirty politics.

Anyone that believes in research and science, and logic and reason are always going to have a hard time dealing with hard core religious ppl, and other irrational ppl. It's just the way it is.

But, as ppl that respect science and research, and logic and reason, we also need to be aware that science isn't an endgame, and that it is a quest to find more answers and more truths. So for ppl to just pass off scientific studies and make science political I have a problem with that.

as for progressives? They need to stop focusing on division, and start focusing on ways to bring ppl together. They will never win when they are constantly chastising large groups, thinking that that is how someone will change their views. Stop pandering to individuals, stop playing group politics, and stop using using the same ol' democrat/republican ways of fracturing the population with hate.

Now is the best time for progressives to break away from the democrat party. If Bernie wanted to start third party he would be their best chance (due to his popularity) and they would have a good chance at building a solid party. With the DNC totally brushing off progressives, and using them only for their voter base they stay showing how they have no intentions of reforming and changing. they have this air about them that their shyt don't stink and that everyone else is the problem.

Progressives need to get away from that, go thrid party, and start building a better more open party. If ppl have shown ANYTHING over the last year and a half it's that they are totally open to taking chances for real change. (shyt just backfired with Trump). which is actually better for most progressives as it pushes more ppl back their way. It's what they do about it then is the issue.

This doesn't make any logical sense though.

First off any new 3rd party wouldn't have the financial backing to compete with the major partys. Campaigns cost money and the RNC and DNC have massive war chests to spend on media. Even with Dem support there hasn't been any progressives able to win a major election in the last prez or midterms. I highly doubt having less resources would improve their chances.

Second I find it fairly illogical to use Trump success as cause for progressives doing well in elections. Trump didn't run on progressive policy. Bernie did. Bernies result is much more indicative of what to expect from progressives in the foreseeable future.

So you could get your pure party. Just don't expect to win any elections.

How do,you ever expect to build and get real change if you never take the first step?

Your defeatist attitude is why nothing ever changes.

I'm not saying that a progressive party would win the presidency by next election, but if they started winning seats and building their platform a lot of ppl would be on it.

Most ppl are sick of the status quo, (hence why many voted and were suckered by trump). The progressives bring many things that ppl on both sides really want. They could do some damage if they wanted to.

she's such a fukking shill.

We can walk and chew gum. She can't.

Last I checked, the Dems weren't fukking you over, the GOP was.

Some of these Bernie bros are so infuriatingly one-track its amazing.

They hate the Dems more than they apparently dislike the GOP.
Dems voted to keep slavery
