This shyt feels so smooth to play so far. A few observations

- Yea this definitely feels more like a platinum game than a NG, but that’s not bad when PG has a budget

- Yellow paint is everywhere, DSP has truly ruined gaming

- There’s gonna be so much hentai of that shibari rope priestess

Ryu was never a charismatic protagonist like Dante or Bayonetta. But he was entertaining to watch during cutscenes. Yakumo so far been boring, but his gameplay is gas tho.

Anybody know how to turn off the lock on opponent? I enabled it on the opening menu, but I can't find the option anymore.

Ugh I love the fast combat so much. I'm in heaven. First chapter done, and I struggled in one spot (the ranged enemies will forever be the bane of my existence). The boss wasn't bad. I messed around with him for a bit seeing what I could get away with. Second phase (no way that should be a spoiler if you're familiar with TN lol) seemed a bit intimidating at first, but really wasn't shyt. Only saw it a couple times before killing him. The Purgatory Gates are gonna be a bytch, and I'm here for it, though the first gate wasn't as bad (to me) as the one part I struggled with, so there's that.

I know ppl get anal about the grades, but that's not something I worry about, especially on first playthrough. I like to take my time with all my games (get my moneys worth), so the time will be an issue. Plus, I play so ridiculous (this is why I love the speed of combat...perfect for my style), meaning deaths will always be high, so fukk them grades.

Your reflexes really gotta be on point. It's a good test for me, tell me if I'm getting old or not lol. I love this shyt. Like I posted earlier, if you're not playing on Hard, don't talk to me about shyt. And if you're playing on Hero Mode, then why the fukk would you buy this to begin with. Still can't believe they put that bullshyt in the game. Gamers too soft now.

If you like fast-paced combat this is a must-play. shyt is orgasmic. Nothing feels off the table right now as far as what's possible. Can't wait to get other weapons and see how the switching works. I swear I saw someone say you can switch mid-attack, and that will be absolutely bonkers.
