I already know this gonna be one of them throw your controller at the tv, hard for no reason type of games.

I still remember beating Ninja Gaiden for the first time before I went to school, after so many rage inducing moments that feeling when I mastered it was straight euphoria


I hope this one is difficult

Anybody around in arcades in the early 90s should recognize that opening sequence from the trailer.

There was a corner store by my grandma house that had a NG arcade cabinet up front.

My parents would send me to the store with a dollar and instead of buying snacks i would spend all 4 quarters on playing the game( and i was a little fat nikka so that was a BIG decision for me)

If i didn’t have any money sometimes i would still walk up to the store and just watch the cinematics.



This was amazing stuff for the time. I had seen nothing like it in video games.

I’ve been waiting for them to make a modern 2d game for seemingly my entire life.

Both games were considered a right of passage back in San Diego

Many of gamers quickly realized NG wasn’t for the faint of heart
