I'm talking about both series as a whole which covers all gens. However, Ninja Gaiden has it hands down for the most recent gen.

As a kid in the early 90s I preferred gaiden.

Gaiden made a very successful transition into 3d unlike Shinobi, so im going with that

Shinobi for PS2 had a ton of potential but history shows that Ninja Gaiden has won overall.

A reboot for NG could be dope. DmC turned out good despite the backlash. Just do the masses care about Ninja Gaiden anymore for Tecmo to deliver?
