Ninja Gaiden vs. Shinobi series

Ninja Gaiden has been a better series. Better power ups, controls, and bosses. Jaquio is still giving adult gamers nightmares.

Ninja Gaiden tarnished it's name a bit with Ninja Gaiden 3 (recent gen).

Shinobi for PS2 was hella underrated.

Shinobi by a hair, taking into account all games.

I'm looking at the scores and NG3 got a 58 while NG2 and Sigma 2 got 80s+. Something went wrong.

I had a chance to play it during the piff modding days on 360 but I skipped it.

We was playin DMC4 and Bayonetta back then.

It's more of the same and a solid game. People didn't like the cqc type executions. If you enjoyed the other ones I can't see how you'd hate this. It was a little harder that's all.

As a kid Shinobi was better especially Revenge and Shadow Dancer. But NG surpassed Shinobi when the Xbox version dropped then Black, 2 and Razors Edge

That's one of my favorite series of all time but instead of a new game for the current gen we get Nioh which played well but still...

shyt was different and harder and cheap but if u had skill it was piff. Plus the extra characters put it over the top in my opinion

Both series need a true reboot, especially Shinobi, but what is the best series?

Ninja Gaiden is the better overall series but like others said.. They both had certain gens locked up. 8 bit era had 3 ninja Gaiden games, all were epic. I defeated Jaccio I remember the blood touching the blade and resurrecting the boss

Shinobi 1 is an all-time great, on par with super Mario, it was Sega's mascot for a while the sequel's were during the 16 bit era, excellent sequel's, then the series disappeared. I don't recall a ninja Gaiden again till the Xbox versions and those were great games. Totally different, but stellar. A new old skool version of ninja Gaiden would be an indie title Like double dragon 4

So ninja Gaiden wins only because there was more of them. Revenge of Shinobi sold systems tho, ninja Gaiden I can't say ever did all of that
