I know the game is very popular, but geez

Nobody else is on Nintendo's level when it comes to pure game design.

There's nobody who's even close tbh.

Others whiff them when it comes to sound design/visual flourishes but just in terms of game feel and loop, they stand alone when they're trying.

Splatoon is fun

I only played the Splatoon 2 demo but I see the appeal, its dope

Splatoon almost feels like something that would have come out on Dreamcast or something like in a good way. Its just zany crazy fun and something that kids and adults can enjoy at a high level.
