Nintendo has the worst data transfer procedure on the planet

Has anyone else had to deal with this nonsense

To transfer games from a wii to a wii u you have to have both systems on, and connected to the internet. Go through a dozen pages on a menu on each system. Swap an SD card back and forth between systems twice. Download a transfer app on both consoles. Whole process takes an hour easily.

I heard its the same procedure when transferring between 3Ds'

Nintendo could have just let users create a gamertag and link all account info to that tag and let users download software to the new system the tag is linked to.

moding the systems seems like just a big of a pain in the ass, and since you cant transfer games between systems, thats why nintendo has to fix the situation

Yeah, I get that modding isnt for everyone. But if/when you do you no longer worry about things like this.

I treat my wii like a baby PC now.
Games, movies and apps all neat and organized in their folders.


By the way, you shouldn't mod it. You should take it to someone who knows what they are doing and let them mod it.

it wasnt an insult to you im just saying nintenfo is outdated they need to step their game up heavy they have good 1st partys and lots too but their whole oonline gaming is trash. and today 80% of gaming is online if not more. plus they graphics iis shyt too

Nintendo was doing online gaming 20 years ago on the regular NES.

Nintendos job is not to do what is popular, its to decide what will be polular later, invent it, then other companies can spend years ironing it out while Nintendo does other shyt.
If 80% of gaming is online, why would you want the last 20% to be online also?
