Nintendo making games for PS4/Xb1, good or bad Idea?

Who is hating on Nintendo?? The thread is about a video from HHG and Michael Pachter. Did you even listen to it?? They made it pretty clear Nintendo's 1st party titles are exceptional and that it would be great if they can play those same games on better tech. I'm well aware Nintendo is sitting on more $$$ than Sony right now, it's just been a mere wish that Nintendo would do something to get their games out on better tech. It's no reason why Nintendo still has incompetent online service or and is now just entering HD when people been on that.

Yeah everything is always "hating on Nintendo" when it's not the case. It's clear that they are the best at making games for their platforms, the problem is their relations and how they seemingly refuse to accept that the internet is a big thing.

I mean the fact that games are tied to your hardware is one of the dumbest things I have EVER seen. That shyt is mind boggling to me.

Nintendo makes some of the best games. Period.

In a perfect world they'd have modern specs with 3rd party support and a respectable online service.

Seriously. Nintendo been having spotty 3rd party support for the LONGEST. Since the freaking Gamecube days I used to wonder why certain games were missing on Nintendo hardware. I used to only own a gamecube and I was envious seeing PS2 owners get damn near get a hot title every week and yet gamecube was sitting on the side with nothing.

I saw the vid when it was posted on the net a couple days ago.
I just think its white noise because their CEO has shown that he has no interest in the spec dikk measuring contest that MS and Sony are in. They could probably benefit from better hardware but I can see why Nintendo wouldn't want to go that route. Its not like their competitors are making huge profits with their formula.

They swung and missed with the Wii U but anyone expecting them to have hardware on par with Sony and MS next gen is more than likely going to be disappointed.

I honestly don't buy Iwata's whole "We aren't in competition with Sony/M$" speech. It's certainly easy to say that in the face of abysmal sales and waning 3rd party support but come on. They make video games for their own video game consoles that have games published on them by companies that also publish on Sony and Microsoft's respective console; they're in competition.

It's a pipe dream to see Nintendo go that route but they need to do something different at least. I don't know what exactly they should do but they need to find a way to salvage the Wii U while they still can. With Sony for example, they've been doing new things that make the PS Vita look compelling now due to PS4 having mandatory remote play control schemes for practically every game and the soon to be released Playstation now. Even if people weren't checking for the Vita for AAA titles, they can use it as the indie portable(Spelunky on Vita is ), the PS4 remote play handheld and the PS Now streaming device(streaming PS1-3 games to it).

Even Microsoft who's certainly not doing terrible right now are doing things to push the XB1 hard despite it's shortcomings i.e moneyhatting exclusives, bundling free copies of games, layaway, downplaying 1080P w/e.

I hate when I see people shyt on nintendo, there is still some creativity there. I can't tell the xbox one and ps4 apart
nintendo owns the handheld market, lol @ people wanting nintendo titles on sony/microsoft consoles i thought people hated nintendo on the internet.
I swear people don't play the consoles they hate on, I remmeber people laughing at the Wii. Wii got piff you just got to look.

I remember one of my homies worked at gamestop a few years ago and someone came in and asked what mario games do they have on the ps2

Nintendo exclusives are always better than what Sony or Microsoft has to offer overall. Sad thing is that is pretty much the only shyt worth playing on their consoles now. Nintendo let too much shytty no name developers gimmick out the Wii
