The same LGBT people who ere sympathized with for being 'outcasts' because of their likes and dislikes are, together with their supporters/sympathizers, out-casting others for the very same thing.

Those who demand empathy and sympathy because: "people don't know what it feels like to be ridiculed for something that comes natural to you"...are doing the exact same thing to others. If you are naturally turned off by homophobia, you are a 'horrible person'.

And let's talk about denying rights shall we? The LGBT community and their sympathizers don't want them to be denied rights...like marriage, children etc. Yet, these same people would deny people the right to protect/keep their children away from it all on some guilt trip tip; because apparently, if you want to keep them away from your children, then you are indirectly insulting them and insinuating that they aren't normal or equal. So yes. Hypocritically, you are also denying the rights of others through boycotts and psychological warfare.




This is a different perspective.

Yeah, I think both of you guys make some good arguments.
Some posters here say its their right to distance themselves from gays, but I can see why someone could easily twist that into a comment supporting segregation. On the other hand, race and sexual orientation are two different things because one can hide his sexual urges while the other can't hide his race. And it does bother me that no matter what we do, other minority groups will always pull that "at least I'm not a n*gger" bullshyt.

In short: Everyone's a hypocrite.

As for Nintendo's game, it's aimed at children and sexual themes (no matter how innocent) are not something their Western counterparts want to get involved in. They just have to accept that and hope that the average soccer mom will be more accepting in 10 years.

And racial minority representation in games is a completely different issue because the last time I remembered, being black isn't a sexual issue. There are interracial relationships, but the people who are against this are in the minority.
