people making excuses for $70 games, saying they would pay $100 for GTA, comparing it to the price to eat out, talking about $'s per hours of enjoyment, taking about the price of SNES games, etc

You really get screwed on the battery also.
Like my V1 switch had a 2-3 hour battery than it got the refresh liek a year later with the 5-6 hour battery
Soooo what should happen if they are getting more and more expensive to make then?

I think there's room for more dynamic pricing in gaming. but when corporate greed gets wind of that, they just want to charge the maximum for everything. and that's kind of what we're seeing here:
