I don't take my Switch out of the dock anymore so this isn't worth it for me. Hopefully it's not a plastic screen though.

we probably won't get whatever succeeds the switch until maybe 2027.

If they can milk the switch + its iterations, they will. They did the same with the DS and 3DS...and for all intents and purposes the switch has always been a handheld.
