Maybe, it's because my introduction to video games was Duckhunt/Mario Brothers, the fact that I'm a father, or that I'm so almost (irreverently) used to Nintendo being so clean cut, but probably it's the child pornography thing by a NINTENDO employee that grosses me out.
Some of you are some of the quickest to call a woman a thot and engage in online fukkery, yet when some woman who you don't know could potentially hurt a legendary company like Nintendo by being a part time whore who rationalizes child pornography is beyond me.
That whole article was one long rationalization. The prositution thing isn't my biggest issue because I think it should be legalized anyway. That said, when you work for any company, you are a de facto face no matter how high or low you maybe on the totem pole. That's why things like references and drug tests are utilized by companies both big and small.
Young, naive women have been warned to not post anything on social media because it could affect their job potential. This woman was a PR rep of all things, if memory serves, for the company. She clearly has some sexual fetishes that don't fit with the Nintendo brand.
I'm not going to generalize or stereotype anyone, but I can't see how you can defend this. Business wise? You're representing something far bigger than you, that you applied for, and there's standards that come with what you signed up for. That's how companies work.
