this is why I had to stop hanging around all of my people for a while until I got it fully understood that I can't hold back my intelligence in fear of making my friends feel insecure, now I put them on books and make sure we're all getting this knowledge so no one feels bad or left out.

You ever read "The Prince" by Machiavelli. (Even tho the ideas were more than likely stolen and credited to Machiavelli.) The book said 'Think like an individual but act like everyone else'...basically, don't go against the grain. I say that to say, dumbing yourself down is not "black culture" I think Nipsey was dumbing it down to adapt to his surroundings. Since he's in the street, he has to seem to be of that element. :thinking:
