Obviously I wasn't there. However, my interpretation of the events is that he was passive aggressively flexing/checking you. Like, "I know I'm in NY and I know what time it is, but if we were in Cali I would get at you about that red you got on". That's just how I took it, if the conversation would have happened in the west coast, he would have instigated violence towards you. Personally I would have put hands on him for talking to me like that, I wear whatever the fukk I wanna wear it shouldn't even have been brought up.
