I love both artists so it's hard to pit two favorites against each other. But I gotta go with Gibbs. He's shown so much versatility over the 8 years I've been listening to him. Soul beats, boom bap beats, trap beats, smooth shyt, he's comfortable on it. Lyrically I give him the edge over Nip too

Gotta go with Gibbs... Nipsey is a replacement level rapper to me.. Feel like I could take him completely off his projects, keep the beats and guest spots, and replace him with "random average west coast artist" and I'd enjoy it just as much.. Never in life have I heard a song and thought "damn they should've put a Nipsey verse on here, he would've killed it"

While I'm going with Gibbs I disagree with this. Dom and YG aint better than Nip.

Gibbs is clearly a better spitter. But Nipsey my Favorite rapper because of the emotion and feeling he put in his music. Real true to life motivational shyt. Nip's music is truly meant to be felt and he's also a dope ass rapper, don't get it twisted.

Freddie cane is one of the best doing it. Pinata shadow of a doubt and yol2 r straight classics in my book. Shadow of a doubt would b a 10 on my personal rating scale if he had cut a few trax and added the trax from the pronto EP which would have fit perfectly sonically speaking. I fukk wit nipsey and he's a solid nikka 4sho just not on Gibbs level musically
