Tinashe def has triple the workload and works wayyyyy more than Niykee but tinashe has lavage with 2on and all my friends and like u said has potential to really make money but even tinashe talks too much at times and also she will kinda meet the label half way on some things u gotta play the game sometimes period and tinashe doesn't thot it up on the gram 24/7 another issue with niykee she doesn't know when to post a thirst trap and when to put music up and like the shyt I heard wasn't raw at all also she has no heavy weight OG's behind her she signed the wrong deal and she is too young to know really how to finesse the game maybe she can turn it around but I doubt it

True. At least with Tinashe, you could say that she's really more or less a hit away from getting into the mainstream. Niykee isn't even close. If she blew up now, she'd get booted out quicker than Iggy did, and Iggy hasn't bounced back since her tour got canceled... Two years ago. :damn:

But I can completely understand why female artists will say how there's sexism in the industry and want something done about it, female artists shouldn't have to post thirst traps to get their music played. Maybe it's because in the Hip Hop genre, it's harder to sell a female act to a male audience (which I'm not even sure that's the case)? Or maybe the female artists we have now don't have the undeniable songs in their repertoire to give these labels the push back. Either way, the come up for a female singer seems like it comes with its challenges, so I feel for them.

Her manager blocked me some time ago, must have took a shot at her management skills. I wish I could get at her for letting Niykee go down this destructive path

And by management, I presume you mean terrible plastic surgery. :skip:

Yup Tinashe really a hit away from to breaking thru hopefully she can get joyride to a happy medium and get a release date ...but here is the thing with female artist that r attractive everyone wants to fukk them and if have a exec that wants a piece and u turn down him/her down they can really take away opportunities and if u do cave in u will be marked don't get hot or have a shytty single u will be shyt on and black balled easy but women def have it harder in the industry as well in life period.Thats why it is always important if u sign to a major have a strong team already in place to combat the fukk shyt oh and it go's the same way for male artist as well nikkas get pressed and tired by these on the lowkey gay execs as well if ur attractive dude. it cuts both ways.

100% agreed. Being attractive seems to be a double-edged sword, especially if you're coming into the industry with no power in your hands. This is the reason why I will always chant and repeat how crucial it is for artists to have a fan base BEFORE they go knocking on labels' doors. Even they will tell you themselves, they're not looking at you until you have a sizable audience that you engage with on a regular basis. This is also why labels don't accept unsolicited demos. Their logic is, if they're able to stumble onto your music by accident or there's enough buzz via word of mouth to get them interested, you're most likely ready for signing. Like for example, we have Alessia Cara from Mississauga opening for Taylor Swift and at least had a hit on the radio. Now Alessia, Tinashe and Niykee are completely different artists in their own right, but I think there's more to it. As far as I know, nobody's haunting Alessia for thirst traps and all that. But if a girl like her from Canada, who doesn't have the looks of say a Tinashe or a Niykee, can blow up bigger than the both of them... Then I think it stands to reason that sexiness doesn't translate into success. At least, not if you don't have the musical caliber to match.

Yup labels will only look at u once they see u have a sizable fan base alessia is a cute girl but she doesn't really sell her sexuality like tinashe or niykee do which is not a bad thing but has u can see it's something that has put them in a box and both tinashe and niykee said they never wanted to be seen as just hot put when u lead with ur body so to speak without the music giving room to do so (ex beyonce)u end up in the weird space they are both end alessia on the other side of the fence just wants u to focus on the music and nothing else and her team makes sure of that not that would make her less freaky in her personal life just how u present yourself to the public...I think the mistake tinashe and niykee make and continue to make is leading with their bodies like yo look at me half naked on the gram of the cover of a mag and jack off to me and I have music u better take me serious as artist it's levels to this shyt both need slow down and let the music do the talking for awhile and find a balance feel me?

Literally the most skin I've seen from her.

*pending  check

I respect it. I dont know much about her, except her on the Breakfast Club, but she seemed very
sweet young girl who's shy (i am an introvert myself so i know) and about her art. It looked like it wasnt gimmick-y either, thats really her. I
respect her & think if she has a strong team who "protects" her she'll be around & develop. At least she seem like a nice person.

Steve Rifkind is the son and nephew of "Made Men" who ran with Meyer Lansky back in the prohibition era..

Meyer Lansky along with Bugsy Sigel created the "COHEN CRIME FAMILY" of which Steve Rifkind pops and uncle along with Lyor's uncle were affiliated with led by L.A gangster MICKY COHEN AKA THE KING OF LA.

Very interesting. This would explain why Ja Rule & Gotti would call Lyor "Lansky" back in the day, and still at times.

God damn, you stay droppin jewels. I appreciate it my dude.

You got any info regarding Jimmy Iovine? It seems like he doesnt get shytted on as much IMO even tho he's a evil & greedy too. I dont know
if that says something about his power or not but it seems like he doesnt get shytted on as much as the others. U got any info about him & his foul play?
