Bunch of Meltzer jrs in here im starting to see why Da King stays trolling you nikkas we get a great show hardly any post about the actual matches but the accountants in here telling us whats a good number and what isnt like they have ANY idea of what njpw needs to recoup for a show like this

Merch was always gonna do great numbers. Outside they had about 10-12 boxes left, and this was about an hour before the show started. Inside there was only 1 merch table, and there was 2 set-up, so I’m assuming one finished their inventory. By nights end the last merch table was very scarce.

And I hope you weren’t throwing shots my way.

3,000 is a very solid base of fans for zero promotion to be honest. Thing is, they have enough experience now to know what to do in order to get a sellout if they ever decide to run bigger buildings for a solo show, like they did with the Cow Palace.

In wwe ya dont like the storylines or the wrestling but ya love to talk about how much you dont watch and ratings(which you dont see a dime of unless u a stockholder )

In Nj ya kind of like the wrestling matches but would rather sit around talking about numbers and what they draw in random fukking buildings n what is a failure or success even though you dont see their books and have no idea what it takes for them to recoup(which you dont see a penny of) cool.

nikka built like a high school freshmen and would get bodied by a real high school wrestler besides that though his style is boring to me. CAWdy had a better match w Okada than Zack Sabre

You've been a part of business discussions about WWE too, TSC has always done that. The internet fan in general has always talked about ratings, buyrates, who is a draw, etc. In serious discussions, stan wars and all around fukkery it's always been here, and Japan was never an exception to that (and if you go into people that really know Lucha, it's the same thing). If you look the Puro thread, that's been up since 2012, we've been discussing buildings and shyt like that since day 1 if that makes us "Meltzer Jr.", to you, sure, but let's not act like it's a new thing in this place

And the puro thread has a fukk ton of reviews, links, news, arguments, fukkery about shyt that we love. Not all of it is about New Japan, because that's not the only promotion in Japan and we've been following all the wrestling from there for a long ass time now.

don't do that, I've said from the jump I don't give a fukk about any of that because shyt doesn't effect my pockets at all. Right around when Punk got the title is when nikkas started becoming carny accountants

Fun show. I hope they keep running Walter Pyramid because there’s really no bad seat in the house. I’m sick that Juice lost his first title defense to a guy who wasn’t even in G1...it was a pretty good match by CAWdy standards though.

NGL GoD surprised me, their match really picked up in the last eight or so minutes. I think X Jackson is the first person I’ve seen to kick out of Tanga Roa’s Apeshyt.

Main event was pure flames. The crowd went apeshyt when Okada and Omega faced off, that right there was magic.
